Easy Diy Hat Rack

My girlfriend has been throwing hints for months that it would be nice if I built her a hat rack, so when she went away over the weekend I decided that, that was the best time to build her one. 😉

Let's Create Something!

Materials:

*Old Spice Rack or a piece of lumber

(Family $ for like 5$)

*Hook Screws

*Spray Paint

*Power Drill and Drill Bit

Step1:

Grab that old spice rack TFS

and remove the legs from it.

Step2:

Grab your Power Drill and Drill Bit nd begin to Pre - Drill 3 holes along the center of your board.

One on each corner of the board and one in the center.

Step3:

Grab your Hook screws

and insert them into the pre-drilled holes.

Once that's completed head outside or to a well ventilated area to prepare to add on your paint.

This method is optional, you can use chalk paint, wax, stain paint, spray paint or any arts and crafts paint that adheres to wood.

Step 4:

Add on some color🤗 I chose to use spray paint for my project so that it didn't need much time to sit and dry.

Step 5:

Pre-Drill 4 more holes in to the board. One on the top left and top right corner of your lumber, then one at the bottom of each corner. Once completed add in your screws, I used two 1 ¼ “ screws. This method allows your hat rack to hang.

Step 6:

Decorate your hat rack to your liking. (Optional)

I used some letter stickers that I had left over from a previous project, to add some more creativity to this one, it was just to plain for my liking lol.

On instagram, I wanted something that was based off of that.

I was bound to get a smile and some happy reactions afterwards. 😉

Once all that's done if you haven't chose to add anything else after painting then you're all finished, just add on your hats and your all done.
